CONROE
Barnes & Noble aims to open a new store at the Conroe Marketplace in early May.
DALLAS
Interabang Books raised over $9,000 for United to Learn, an organization providing new books to over fifty Dallas schools and libraries.
HOUSTON
Houston's Brazos Bookstore is celebrating its fiftieth birthday in April. The store has set up an exhibit celebrating its 50 years that includes photos, news articles, and mementos and will celebrate all year with special events, partnerships with local nonprofits, and more.
KATY
The Little Bookstore opened recently inside the Painted Tree Boutiques. The store focuses on providing a space for children and families to explore bilingual books.
NEW BRAUNFELS
Chapter & Co. will open in New Braunfels by the end of the year. Focusing on romance and fantasy titles, the store will also feature a café with baked goods.
RICHMOND
LIT Bookbar will transition from pop-up to brick & mortar bookstore in March. They will celebrate their grand opening on March 7 at their new location--611 Jefferson St, Suite B.
SAN ANTONIO
Libros, a late-night reading lounge, opened in San Antonio. Open from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., this BYO drink lounge offers free Wi-Fi, a goth vibe, comfy chairs, and a small convenience store. In the future they plan to offer daytime hours, movie nights, and more.
SAN MARCOS
Green Heron Bookshop is now open Th-M at 323 W. Hopkins St. in San Marcos. They also feature Texas art and plan to host open mic poetry nights beginning in April.
TOMBALL
The Book Attic is moving to a new location. Beginning March 1, 2024, they can be found at 15222 FM 2920.

FlowerSong Press received the annual $10,000 Constellation Award, given to honor an independent literary press that is led by and/or champions the writing of people of color, including Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and Asian American & Pacific Islander individuals, for excellence in publishing.
Via his annual Holiday Bookstore Bonus Program, Author James Patterson provided a $500 bonus to six hundred booksellers from ABA member bookstores to honor the importance of their work. Congratulations to these twenty-two Texas booksellers:
