Recorded August 26, 2019.  Poet Mike Alexander came over to my studio in the Heights of Houston, Texas a couple of weeks back. We did what I tend to do when people come visit me, we recorded a conversation. Mike is a poet, a translator, and the host of PoetryFIX, a poetry reading that happens almost every other week at Fix Coffeebar in the Montrose neighborhood, just east of Montrose Blvd on Tuesday evening.
